Successful camp held over the weekend with former RHS grads and now NMHU players and their coaching staff!
Please see attached memo in regards to Smart Snacks in our district. Elementary schools are nut free. MMS and RHS have nut free zones.

Middle School Volleyball (6th - 8th grade) starts Monday August 11th 3:30pm - 5:00pm @ Marr gym. Athletes must have a physical to be able to practice. Forms are available online or at the RHS El Centro clinic. Thank you!
Reminder: Chromebook distribution tomorrow, from 9:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. at McFarland Hall. A Parent/Guardian must be present to sign for the device. If you have any old devices, they can be swapped out for a new one at distribution. Thank you!
Welcome back students and staff! As a reminder, in accordance with the NM State Cell Phone Policy, students will no longer be allowed to use cellphones in the classrooms or hallways during the school day. School begins at 7:50 a.m. with the first bell at 7:45 a.m. See you there!

Robo Call/Text: Sierra Vista Elementary "First Day of School" is Thursday August, 7, 2025. Open House is also scheduled for tomorrow evening, August 7, 2025 from 5:15pm to 6:00pm. We welcome all parents and guardians to come by and meet your child’s teacher for the 25/26 school year. Also, if you have not completed your child’s registration forms, please do so at this time.
Parents/Guardians: Chromebooks will be distributed from McFarland Hall (located at RHS Campus) Friday, from 9:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Parents will need to be present to sign for the Chromebooks.

Online Registration is open! Returning students enrollment forms can be found in the Parent Portal! New Students/Transfer Students will need to fill out the pre-registration form or fill out paper packets! On site registration assistance will be available starting Friday, August 1st! Paper packets are also available at LVCS Central Office!
