
Services Provided
The Special Education Department provides a continuum of services designed to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment. Services include:
• Resource support in reading and mathematics, including specialized instruction to address reading disabilities such as difficulties with phonological processing, decoding, fluency, and comprehension
• Life Skills programs at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Inclusion services across all grade levels
• Occupational Therapy
• Physical Therapy
• Speech and Language Therapy
• School Social Work services
• School Psychological services
• Comprehensive multidisciplinary evaluations conducted by a school psychologist and/or educational diagnostician to determine eligibility for special education and related services

The mission of the Special Education Department is to ensure that all students with disabilities receive a free appropriate public education through individualized, high-quality instruction and related services in the least restrictive environment, in partnership with families and school staff.
