Family Pick Up Starts Today -
Important Announcement: Optional Family Pick-Up Program
Starts Today
We are pleased to announce that our new Family Pick-Up
begins today, Monday, August 17th. This program is designed
to streamline the pick up process for families with children
attending both Los Niños Elementary (LÑE) and Sierra Vista
Elementary schools.
Please note that participation in this program is completely
optional. If you prefer to continue picking up your students
from each school separately, you are welcome to do so.
However, if you prefer a single pickup location for your
children at LÑE and Sierra Vista, please let us know today.
Please inform your child's teacher by 12:00 PM today.
Once notified, we will issue a red "Family Pick-Up" tag for your
Los Niños student. This tag helps us to safely escort them to
Sierra Vista for a unified pick up in the afternoon. Parents will
pick up their children at the Sierra Vista pick up lanes. Be sure
to utilize the left lane.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued partnership in
keeping our students safe.

UPDATE - SHELTER-IN-PLACE LIFTED: The shelter-in-place at Los Niños Elementary and Sierra Vista Elementary has been lifted. The area has been cleared, and all school activities have returned to normal operations. Thank you to our families for your support and patience today!
Attention Parents and Guardians,
Out of an abundance of caution, Los Niños Elementary and Sierra Vista Elementary have been placed on a temporary Shelter-in-Place due to a report of wildlife in the immediate vicinity.
What you need to know:
Student & Staff Safety: All students and staff are safe, indoors, and secure inside the building.
School Operations: Learning activities are continuing normally indoors; exterior doors remain locked.
Parent Action: Please do not come to the campus at this time, as visitors will not be permitted entry during a shelter-in-place, and keeping campus roadways clear is essential for safety.
We will issue another update as soon as the area is cleared and the shelter-in-place is lifted.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
