Anatomage Table Lab Day at RHS

At RHS, we have a state-of-the-art Anatomy Apparatus. The apparatus is the Anatomage Table. Students in our Bio 2 & HOSA class used the Anatomage Table today to virtually dissect the human body, identify key structures and their functions, and connect what they saw to real medical conditions, bringing textbook anatomy to life.

Special thanks to River Source for the collaboration efforts with the RHS MESA Team. The Field Trip in El Porvenir was a success.

The students broke into three groups and went through four rotations (45 minutes each) of great field work. This riparian data will be used in the efforts of restoring the Camp Long Campgrounds near Johnson's Mesa.

Field Labs Included:
1) Water chemistry (Carlos Herrera)
2) Aquatic invertebrates (Tian Sandoval)
3) Stream flow (Kathy Hillock)
4) GPS/Riparian Data using Smartphones in real time.

BEST way to stay healthy is good hand washing, covering your cough and sneeze and disinfecting highly touched surfaces often.

At Las Vegas City Schools, we believe taking care of our students starts with ensuring they have a warm meal to share with their families. We are so proud to announce that our Federal Programs Department and staff members across the district have come together for Thanksgiving and Christmas to organize and donate a combined total of approximately 100 holiday meal boxes to families in our community!

It truly takes a village, and we couldn’t have done this alone. A huge, special thanks goes to our Maintenance Department for doing the heavy lifting—literally! They stepped up to load and deliver every single box to ensure they reached our families safely.

Thank you to everyone who donated and worked behind the scenes to make the holidays a little brighter for our students!
