NEW MEXICO ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT AND REVIEW FOR DRINKING WATER STATE REVOLVING FUND
2024 DWSRF BASE AND BIPARTISAN INFRASTRUCTURE LAW
GENERAL SUPLEMENTAL FUNDING, LEAD SERVICE LINE REPLACEMENT FUNDING, AND EMERGING CONTAMINANTS FUNDING
PROJECT PRIORITY AND COMPREHENISVE LIST INTENDED USE PLAN
The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) Drinking Water Bureau (DWB) and the New Mexico Finance Authority (NMFA) produce an annual Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Project Priority List (PPL) and Intended Use Plan (IUP). The IUP identifies proposed intended uses of the funding amounts available to the DWSRF Program including from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Lead Service Line Replacement and Emerging Contaminants. The current PPL identifies eligible projects for DWSRF funding from all sources for State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2024.
NMED DWB is currently accepting public comment from August 18, 2023, through September 18, 2023, regarding: 1) The NMED NMFA DWSRF Program’s IUP for SFY 2024 updated to include the Emerging Contaminant award change and Emerging Contaminants set-aside uses. 2) Projects on the 2024 DWSRF PPL.

DEPARTAMENTO DE MEDIO AMBIENTE DE NUEVO MÉXICO AVISO DE COMENTARIO PÚBLICO Y REVISIÓN DEL FONDO ROTATORIO ESTATAL DE AGUA POTABLE 2024 DWSRF BASE Y LEY DE INFRAESTRUCTURA BIPARTIDARIA FINANCIAMIENTO SUPLEMENTARIO GENERAL, FINANCIAMIENTO DE REEMPLAZO DE LÍNEAS DE SERVICIO DE PLOMO Y FINANCIAMIENTO DE CONTAMINANTES EMERGENTES PRIORIDADES DE PROYECTOS Y LISTA INTEGRAL DEL PLAN DE USOS PREVISTOS
La Oficina de Agua Potable (DWB, por sus siglas en inglés) del Departamento de Medio Ambiente de Nuevo México (NMED, por sus siglas en inglés) y la Autoridad Financiera de Nuevo México (NMFA por sus siglas en inglés) producen anualmente una Lista de prioridades de Proyectos (PPL, por sus siglas en inglés) y un Plan de Uso Previsto (IUP, por sus siglas en inglés) del Fondo Rotatorio Estatal de Agua Potable (DWSRF, por sus siglas en inglés). El IUP identifica los usos previstos propuestos de los montos de financiamiento disponibles para el Programa DWSRF, incluidos los Contaminantes Emergentes y el Reemplazo de Líneas de Servicio de Plomo de la Ley de Infraestructura Bipartidista. La PPL actual identifica proyectos elegibles para financiamiento del DWSRF de todas las fuentes para el año fiscal estatal (SFY) 2024.
La Oficina de Agua Potable del NMED acepta comentarios públicos desde el 18 de agosto de 2023 hasta el 18 de septiembre de 2023 con respecto a:
1) El IUP del programa NMFA DWSRF del NMED para el año fiscal 2024 actualizado para incluir el cambio de adjudicación de contaminantes emergentes y los usos reservados de contaminantes emergentes.
2) Los Proyectos en la PPL de DWSRF 2024
