What LVCS is doing to keep our community safe

WHAT LVCS IS DOING TO KEEP OUR COMMUNITY SAFE:

 

Schools:

 

Masks must be worn indoors for vaccinated and unvaccinated employees as well as students

Sanitizing Stations in hallways 

Quarantine rooms at every site

RN available at every site

Surveillance testing at every site

Handless water fountains on every campus

Air purifiers in every campus

 

Athletic/School Events:

 

Indoors: Only home team and visiting team on the court

               Spectators/Athletes/Coaches/Refs must wear masks

               Adhere to 3 foot - 6-foot spacing as best as possible

               Recommended to sit in family clusters

 

 Outdoors: Recommended that masks must be worn at events

                  Adhere to 3 foot - 6-foot spacing as best as possible

                  Recommended to sit in family clusters

 

Filtration in Schools:

 

NMPED has worked with us on the highest compatible filters. Pg. 18 Toolkit

Run fans continuously, increase air flow, purifiers are placed in high traffic areas

 

Seating Charts:

 

Charts assist in identification of close contacts

 

Old MMS working in conjunction with San Miguel County Emergency Management Systems:

Ways The Community Can Help:

 

Wear your mask

Wash Hands frequently

Use hand sanitizer when available

Avoid large crowds when possible

If you sneeze or cough cover your mouth

 

LVCS is working collaboratively with NMHU, LCC, WLV and the City of Las Vegas to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone in the community. Attached is a notice that was shared with parents and now also sharing with the community.
